Tintern In Person & Online - Join us this Sunday for an in-person service at 9:45 am. We will also be broadcasting a livestream on our website starting at 9:45 am. A reminder to self screen before attending. Masks are optional.

Svitlana is Coming! - Svitlana’s ticket is booked for May 2nd arrival. She’s coming in style securing the last seat on the plane in business class!! Continue to pray for her patience, safety and smooth travels and for us as we prepare for her to live with us. We are so excited and feeling so blessed that God has chosen us for this adventure. She will be quarantined for 14 days after which she will be excited to meet everyone of you.  

Kids Coin Collection - This Sunday the container for the coin collection for City Kidz and Christian Relief will be on the the table where you pick up your communion. We encourage you to drop your coins in. We are sponsoring two children through Christian Relief Fund, Gabriela Jordan (from Piedras Negras, Mexico) and Ambar Gonzales (from Tegucigalpa, Honduras). A picture of the girls is below. You can also etransfer money to tinternpayables@gmail.com, in the message box be sure to let us know that the funds are for the kids collection.  

Wednesday Night Bible Study with Nathan Pickard - The 6 week Bible Study started last night (April 27). You can join a group at the building in Room 6 or you can register with Nathan and get a ZOOM link to enter the class from home. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to Nathan (pickardnathan@hotmail.com) or ask Noel for more details.

Tintern Garden Club - You are welcome to join us at our first Garden Club meeting on Saturday April 30th at 10:30am. We are going to get our Sunflowers started and prepare the gardens for the new season. Every one is welcome! Contact Noel for more details.

Monthly Kids Challenge - This Sunday is the start of a new month which means a new kids challenge! Congratulations to Colby and Lawson for winning last month's draw. If we get over 15 participants again we'll draw 2 names. This month is all about our Moms and the other impactful women in our lives. Each person has a chance to get their name into the draw 2 times. To be entered in the draw comment on the Facebook post, tell your Sunday school teacher or tell Miss. Crystal what you've done to show love to your Mom this month and how you've shown love to another woman who is not your mom. The draw will take place on May 29th.

Bible Day Camp - We are looking for volunteers to help out during BDC July 4 to 8 in the morning. We need both adult and younger helpers (grade 7 and up). If you are interested please let Margaret know, perhaps even before she reaches out to you. For those going into or who are in high school, you can collect volunteer hours that week.

Safe Families Canada - Are you interested in being a volunteer with Safe Families Canada? Need more information? Check out their website https://safefamiliescanada.com/about-us/ and find ways you can help families in our community.

- Becky had her surgery this past Monday (April 25) and is at home recovering. 

Niagara Life Centre -  BBQ FUNDRAISER:  We are delighted to return to Sunshine Express Garden Centre for a fundraising BBQ on Saturday, May 7th, 2022. Fuel your shopping by picking up some delicious food, and support NLC too. Enjoy the beautiful blooms, and gain inspiration for this year’s garden. All money raised from this fundraiser will go towards supporting client services, and helping keep our fees low. Sunshine Express Garden Centre is located at 18 Carlton Street East, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON L0S 1J0 . See you at Sunshine!

Mailboxes - Reminder to check your mailboxes when you are at Tintern.

Be a Good Neighbour - Remember to check in with family, friends and neighbours. A telephone call to can go a long way with those feeling lonely through physical distancing/self isolation. Also, local food banks are in need of food.
