To watch live on our website click here https://www.tinternchurchofchrist.ca/watch. It will go live about 9:40 Sunday morning. You can always find us on Tintern's YouTube channel as well (https://www.youtube.com/user/tinterncofc).

Ask, Listen, Discern, Action - Join us at the building every Sunday morning at 8:30am as we seek direction from God toward building intentional relationships in our local community.

Namwianga - Jason and Cintia Kumalo are missionaries at Namwianga and house parents at Eric’s House. They’ve served faithfully and have helped many boys and young men who were in their care. Now they need your care and your help. Last week Cintia, her sister Paula Swalm, and her niece Kayla Swalm were injured in a vehicle accident on their way to serve on the Westreach Medical Mission. They were evacuated by helicopter out of the bush to a private hospital in Lusaka. Cintia has several fractured vertebrae and broken ribs. Right now it appears that surgery will not be needed, and she is expected to make a full recovery. Kayla has been treated and released from the hospital. Cintia and Paula are expected to be dismissed from the hospital later this week. They will still need to remain in Lusaka for another week and then be evaluated to see if they can return to Namwianga for the rest of their recovery time. Cintia and Jason are very grateful that the results of the accident were not any worse than they are. In addition to your prayers, the Kumalos need your help with medical costs, including helicopter, ambulance, and hospital expenses.  If you would like to help, you can make a check payable to Zambia Mission Fund with a notation for the Kumalos.  The check can be mailed to P.O. Box 3393, Abilene, TX 79604-3393.  If you prefer to make a contribution online, you can go to https://zambiamission.org/donate.html and select “Missionary.” After choosing a one-time or monthly donation, you will be directed to a form with a drop-down menu where you can choose “Kumalo, Jason and Cintia” as the missionary you would like to support. Thank you for your concern, your prayers, and your financial help. (from the August 3 Facebook post of Zambia Mission Fund)

Kids Coin Collection - This Sunday is our coin collection. Once again our kids are going to help collect the money for the kids we are sponsoring. We are sponsoring two children through Christian Relief Fund, Gabriela Jordan (from Piedras Negras, Mexico) and Ambar Gonzales (from Tegucigalpa, Honduras). A picture of the girls is below. You can also etransfer money to tinternpayables@gmail.com, in the message box be sure to let us know that the funds are for the kids collection.

Monthly Kids Challenge - Congratulations to Lochlan for winning the draw in June.
During Bible Day Camp we talk about God sightings and all the ways we can see God at work in our lives every day. The challenge for July is to share a God sighting. To be entered in the draw comment on the Facebook post on the Tintern Kid's Facebook page, tell your Sunday school teacher or tell Miss. Crystal a God sighting that you've seen. The draw will take place on August 7th. (postponed for the long weekend) Good luck everyone!

Noel and Julie's Book Club - Would you like to engage in some conversation about a book this summer? Julie and Noel would like to invite you to join them in a summer book club. Shauna Niequist has written a book called "I Guess I Haven't Learned That Yet," a book about facing uncertain situations and having grace for yourself. It is a collection of 50 short devotionals and is a quick read. If you started next week you could read one a day for the rest of the summer and be ready for an evening of dinner and conversation at the end of the summer (TBA later)

Reach out to Noel or Julie if you're interested. You can see Shauna talk about the book here: https://youtu.be/PFcIAoC910A?t=20

Or contact Heritage Christian Bookstore(https://heritagecbs.com/) 400 Scott St. in St. Catharines and get it there

Get a copy of the book, get reading and we'll talk sometime at the end of August.
