Mud Season - With the wet and/or snowy weather, the parking lot becomes muddy! Please wipe off your shoes when you enter the building on the mats provided. Parents encourage your children to do the same. Also, the exit door at the back of the Fellowship Hall is not an entry door. There are no mats there to remove mud/dirt/snow from shoes. Please re-enter through the main doors. Thank you!

Update from Joel Osborne in Mito Japan - Greetings from the church in Mito Japan. I had asked Tintern members to pray for the new apartment building being built next door to our church building. We've had a family with twin girls come 3 different times for worship and other events including this Christmas, but we also had a jr high boy (in Canada, he'd be in Grade 9) who did an exchange program in Canada and was housed with a Christian family and went to church with them. Through that, he became interested and he came to our Christmas worship & potluck, as well as for our New Year's worship, and then two other times. He has begun studying the bible with Hiro, Seika and I and hopes to do so about once a week. Please continue to pray for there exciting opportunities
We are excited about a potential student exchange program between Ibaraki Christian and Great Lakes. The principal of the Christian Highschool in Ibaraki will be travelling to visit Great Lakes in May this year. We'll keep you posted on what God is up to there. We look forward to the mission team visiting in October and participating in our annual congregational retreat. Please continue to pray for our work here.
