Eclipse Watching - On Monday Apr 8th we have a once in a lifetime opportunity to see a solar eclipse right here in our backyard (weather permitting). The event begins shortly after 2pm on Mon Apr 8th with totality beginning at about 3:12pm and lasting for 2 and a half minutes.

If the skies are going to be clear we invite you to join us here at the church building any time after 1pm to watch it together. We'll do a quick eclipse primer (with some cool pictures on the video screen) before heading outside. Bring eclipse glasses if you have them. We will be building a cardboard box viewer and testing it out as we await the big event.

If the skies are cloudy we won't have anything happening here at the building (and I will be frantically driving East or West to try to get to a place where I can see it. After seeing one in 2017, I'm an eclipse fanatic now)

If you have any questions contact Noel for details and pray for clear skies!

Evertt will speak to us about the imperative of spiritual growth that is intricately connected to our understanding of who God is and the image of God in us. This weekend’s lessons are designed to help us grow in our character, community, service, and submission that are rooted in the likeness of our Creator.

The event is free to attend but please register if you are attending in person so that we can adequately prepare for the Saturday lunch, organize billeting families for out-of-town participants, Kids GROW Too program (pre-K to grade 6), and childcare (0-4 years old).
