Prayers - For Tintern's prayer list, check out our website www.tinternchurchofchrist.ca. The "Prayer Hub" button (top right corner or click here) is where you will find our list of prayers. You can also add prayers.

Celebration of Thanks - Thanks to Bethany and her crew for a great potluck! Thanks to everyone who helped prepare food, set up, clean up and put things away!!

FriendSpeak - Would you be interested in developing a deep personal relationship with an international student that introduces them to the Gospel? FriendSpeak relationships provide a rich benefit for students and their adult readers that can last years. Now that a higher number of English as a Second Language (ESL) students are returning the Great Lakes post Covid, we would like to restart FriendSpeak in the next 3-4 weeks. Please reach out to Katherine Perry or Jim Whitfield this week if you are interested in getting involved this year on most Wednesday nights when school is in session. Training will be provided.

Wil Maddeaux’s Memorial Service - Wil's service will be at Tintern Church of Christ, on Saturday, October 28th at 2:00 pm. Since the service for Wil is being held at the Tintern Church building, we have been asked to help provide refreshments for after the service. Please go to the sign up sheet https://www.perfectpotluck.com/LYBQ6613 to sign up. If you have any questions see Linda Smith

Friday Night Connect Hosts - We are looking for a host for November's FNC (Nov 10th) as well as December's (Dec 8th). Megan is happy to partner with you in any planning or setup that you'd like help with. For more information on hosting a FNC, see the attached pdf or talk to Megan.

Convos Youth Zone - What a great start to the school year we have had. As some of you may know we are in a season of transition as we look for a new permanent home. Despite the changes and unknowns our God is faithful. Our youth just took a trip to the change party in Toronto on Friday where the gospel was presented and Bibles were handed out. On Sunday Olivia, myself (Serena) and a few board members had the privilege to share at Providence CRC and enjoy some fellowship over lunch. We are so thankful for your ongoing support and prayers. As we start a new year our AGM is also quickly approaching. We will be meeting on Monday, November 6th from 7-8pm at Conversations Cafe. I will be sending you more information shortly, but for now mark your calendars and we look forward to seeing you there.

Involvement Opportunities - If you are interested in participating in our worship services (song leading, praying, sharing communion thoughts, reading scripture, audio visual) or weeding/gardening, or teaching/helping in any of our classes, please reply to this email or speak to Margaret.

Unicef Canada - For many people in Canada, UNICEF’s little orange box was a Halloween staple. While the box may be gone, the spirit of Halloween giving continues! Now virtual for the next generation, your Halloween donations continue to make a big difference in the lives of children around the world.
