Prayers - For Tintern's prayer list, check out our website www.tinternchurchofchrist.ca. The "Prayer Hub" button (top right corner or click here) is where you will find our list of prayers. You can also add prayers.

Kids Coin Collection - This Sunday is our coin collection. Our kids are going to help collect the money for the kids we are sponsoring. We are sponsoring two children through Christian Relief Fund, Gabriela Jordan (from Piedras Negras, Mexico) and Ambar Gonzales (from Tegucigalpa, Honduras) and also CityKidz in Hamilton. You can also e-transfer money to tinternpayables@gmail.com, in the message box be sure to let us know that the funds are for the kids collection.  

Thank You - Peter & Neema Masumbuko send their thanks and appreciation for the group gift of a stroller with infant car seat and car seat bunting bag. See picture below.

Tree Giveaway & Rain Barrel Sale - The Town of Lincoln's 2024 Tree Giveaway & Rain Barrel Sale will be held at the Jordan Lions Arena Parking Lot on Friday, October 4, 2024. Those interested in a tree must register in advance to reserve a free tree or order a rain barrel - pick up is available on October 4 only. Please note this is only open to Town of Lincoln residents, proof of residency will be required. For details click here.

Mulch
- Safe Tree Inc is giving away mulch in return for a donation to FEED Niagara of either nonperishable food or funds on October 3 & 4th. Registration is now open with pick up on the dates above at Safe Tre3 Inc located at 1250 Maple Street Fenwick. More information can be found at https://www.safetree.ca/mulch-for-meals. Please note this opportunity is open but requires prior registration.

Safe Families - Thanks to everyone who attended our Safe Families Training Workshop on Sept 16th. This Sunday (Oct 6th) we will have another opportunity to hear from one of the Safe Families Volunteers and how they got involved and how God has used this volunteer service to God's glory. Fenwick Men's Day - Men are encouraged to attend this event scheduled for October 5. It would be helpful to preregister at dandelionacres@gmail.com. Please note that there has been a change in the venue. It will be held at North Pelham Hall, 1710 Maple Street, Pelham, ON.

Close up Camp Omagh -  Many hands needed! Come and share your muscles with Camp as we close up the campus for the season. Bring drills, impact drivers, gloves, rakes, ladders, muscles! We'll feed you lunch or bring your own. Saturdays Oct 5 and 12, 9 am start and gates will close at 4pm. It's just not Omagh without YOU!

Men's Breakfast - Join us for a time of fellowship and prayer. Our next gathering is on Saturday Oct 12 at 8 am. For more details contact Noel

October Friday Night Connect - FNC will be on the 18th at Evan & Lindsay Cramp's house. Join us for some fall fun including a campfire, food, and hayride! Please let the Cramps know if you plan to attend by responding to the event on the Tintern Kids' Facebook page or emailing/texting Lindsay. 

November Friday Night Connect - For FNC in November, we are having an Oscar's Party, where we will have trivia questions about various homemade movie clips shown. We would like to invite families to recreate and film a scene from one of your favourite movies to be shown that evening. All videos should be sent to Megan. Please reach out if you have any questions!  

Great Lakes Congregational Workshop  - Fri Oct 18-Sat Oct 19 Great Lakes High School and Bible College are hosting a workshop on the High School campus on Friday Oct 18 and Sat Oct 19. See the poster for details.

15th Annual Lynn Fee Team Pumpkin Food Drive! - Kicking off September 20th, and running until October 20th, once again, we're excited to partner with Hildreth Farms in support of Community Care of West Niagara and the Grimsby Benevolent Fund. Drop off your non-perishable food items or make a cash donation to support these amazing causes at Hildreth Farms (5529 Greenlane, Beamsville). As a thank you, you'll receive a FREE pumpkin!  Your contributions make a huge difference in our community.

Song Leaders' Workshop with Murray Hibbard at St. Catharines Church of Christ on November 2, 2024. We invite men and women who want to enhance their song leading skills and/or encourage young song leaders and young people who would like to explore song leading as an avenue of service. Great Lakes Christian High School -

Music at Mountainview - Mountainview Church is excited to announce KEN MEDEMA in CONCERT on Saturday November 23rd at 7:30 p.m. Ken is a gifted musician … who happens to be blind! As a singer - songwriter he uses a piano and keyboard to create an experience that is not only interactive but truly unique to each occasion. His heart is full for music, connection, and relationships.

The concert will take place at Mountainview Church, 290 Main St E , Grimsby. Tickets are $20 per person or $45.00 per family (2 adults w/children 18 & under). Tickets are available October 1st. Donations for Camps - Donations for Camp Omagh and/or Strawberry Point Christian Camp can be made to Tintern. Mark your cheques or e-transfers (in the memo line) for which camp in particular you would like to support. Cheques or eTransfers not marked will go towards the General collection. With our partnership with Church of Christ Development Corporation (our mortgage holder), your donations will be matched - so you can double your impact!

Giving More in 2024 - “Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.”  Isaiah 58:10  Together we can make a big difference! Thank you to everyone who donated items in September. Three boxes of items were dropped off at West Lincoln Community Care in Beamsville. For the month of October we are collecting items that are in cans or jars. Invitations are in mailboxes. While grocery shopping for your family, see what you can find.  Any non-perishable items gladly accepted!
