Micah 6 Dessert Fundraiser - The Micah 6 Team has decided to use the dessert portion of our Celebration of Spring meal as a fundraising opportunity for their upcoming trip. In preparation for this, they are preparing an ice cream bar for dessert and planning to have some other dessert options as well. Etransfer will be available as an option for donations.

Summer Schedule - This summer we will be continuing our regular Sunday class schedule (classes for all ages following worship). We will be needing Sunday teachers for EPIC for June, July, and August, and TRUTH teachers for June and July. We are still doing the signups for 1 month at a time. If you're interested in teaching or helping in EPIC or TRUTH over the summer, see Megan or the whiteboard which will be in the auditorium this Sunday.

Update on Linda Codling (Jodie Cook's mom)  - Thank you everyone for your prayers. As of Monday (April 10) she was scheduled to come home on Wednesday but the doctor decided he wanted to run some more tests. It now looks like she she will be going home on Friday (April 14). Support will be provided in the morning and evenings to start with additional support if needed.

Tintern Parenting Workshop - Friday April 21 - What Do I Do When my Teens and Young Adults Choose a Different Path ? What do we do when our teens and adult children make different lifestyle and spiritual choices than we have made? As our kids transition through the teen years into young adulthood, parents discover that they need to engage their kids in a whole new way: as adults. In this session we will hear from three parents who have experienced this transition and we will see what we can learn from their successes and their mistakes.

Great Lakes Youth Rally - GLCHS is eagerly anticipating our first Youth Rally in four years on April 21-23, 2023! You can find more information on the event itself at www.bit.ly/GLCHSYR2023. We are seeking potential homestays for the weekend. If you are willing to consider keeping two or more young people and/or a chaperone for two nights (Friday and Saturday, April 21 and 22), please contact Don Rose (don.rose@glchs.ca or 905-401-3485) for more details. Note that all meals are provided, pick up each night is at 9:30 p.m., and breakfast will be served at 9:00 a.m. each morning. Thank you for any help you can provide!
