Baby News - Congratulations to Doug Tallman with the birth of great grandson Milo Knox Hamilton. He's a (very) little brother to Max and Monty. Congratulations also to Holly and Austin.

Summer Schedule - Throughout this summer, we will be continuing our regular Sunday class schedule, having all classes (for all ages). We will be needing Sunday teachers for EPIC for June, July, and August, and TRUTH teachers for June and July. We are still doing the signups for one month at a time. If you're interested in teaching or helping in EPIC or TRUTH over the summer, see Megan or the whiteboard which will be in the auditorium Sunday.

Tintern Parenting Workshop - Friday April 21 - What Do I Do When my Teens and Young Adults Choose a Different Path ? What do we do when our teens and adult children make different lifestyle and spiritual choices than we have made? As our kids transition through the teen years into young adulthood, parents discover that they need to engage their kids in a whole new way: as adults. In this session we will hear from three parents who have experienced this transition and we will see what we can learn from their successes and their mistakes.

GL Youth Rally Homestays - Don Rose has sent a request for this weekend's Youth Rally: We have need for three billets/homestays for this weekend:
  1. Jose Santoyo, his wife, Daniel and their two young girls (Jose is our worship leader; he works with the Waterloo Church of Christ)
  2. A mother and two pre-teen boys (her son and a friend)
  3. A brother and sister (Grades 7 and 8)
If you can help with any of these, it is most appreciated!  Please contact Don Rose at don.rose@glchs.ca or 905-401-3485.

Bible Day Camp - Online registration for participants will begin around May 15. An email with the link will go out at that time. However, if you would like to volunteer for one of the many positions available please let Margaret know. Email her at office@tinternchurchofchrist.ca or speak to her on Sunday.

GROW 2023 - Is three weekends away, and I invite you to take the time to watch this presentation from Landon Saunders, faithful member of the Lord’s church with a Marriage and Family Therapy background, currently serving as Presidential Scholar for Lipscomb University, Fellow of Caris Life Sciences Foundation, and Founder and President of Heartbeat Radio. In this presentation, Landon Saunders speaks at the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy about establishing a genuine connection with those we seek to help through radical human presence. It will help you get a feel for what our speaker, Ed Gray, will talk about at the GROW 2023 weekend on May 5-7. The video is divided into three parts and is about 75 minutes long in total. I know it’s a bit lengthy, but you will not regret watching this engaging, encouraging, and empowering presentation! Click on the links below to watch:
