Help Support Our Mission Trip to Japan with a Tech Donation!
The Tintern Church of Christ is preparing for a mission trip to Japan to connect with Joel Osborne, Hiro Akahoshi and the Mito Church of Christ through outreach, fellowship, and service. To help fund this trip, we’re launching a technology donation fundraiser, and we’d love your support!

What We’re Accepting:
·Laptops
·iPads
·iPhones
·MacBooks
·Tablets
·Other (gently used) electronic devices

How It Works:
·All donated devices will be securely wiped, removing all personal information using professional tools.
·Many devices will be updated and refurbished for resale.
·100% of the proceeds will go directly toward our mission trip expenses.

Why Donate?
·This allows you to clear out your old tech responsibly.
·You can support a meaningful mission to share faith and serve others.
·This will make a real difference—every device helps us get closer to our goal.

If you’ve recently upgraded or have unused devices, consider donating them to our cause. Your old tech can help bring hope and support to communities in Japan.
Thank You!

Your generosity makes this mission possible.

Job Opportunities at Great Lakes Christian High School - Great Lakes Christian High School in Beamsville, ON is currently hiring for two important roles:
  • A full-time Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to cover a maternity leave in our preschool program (August 2025–June 2026)
  • A part-time Male Dormitory Supervisor to serve in our boys’ residence on alternating weekends during the school year
Both positions offer the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a Christian environment. To learn more or to apply, please visit www.glchs.ca/about/job-opportunities/ or email careers@glchs.ca.

Community Care West Niagara - School might not be out for summer yet, but we are already gearing up for September and the school year ahead! In partnership with Canadian Tire Bank Snacks and Sneakers program, we are able to provide a new pair of shoes, nutritious snacks AND new backpacks filled with school supplies to our registered Lincoln families. Distribution starts on August 21 and to help us prepare, please swipe for a list of our needed Back to School items. Please note, items donated must be new.

Picture Bulletin Board - Thanks to those that have sent in their new pictures. New pictures are on the bulletin board with more to come. Margaret is still collecting family pictures to update our picture bulletin board.

Nonperishable Items - "Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord their God. He is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them—he remains faithful forever. He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry." Psalm 146:5-7(a) Thank you for your donations during the month of June. For the month of July we'll be collecting new school supplies. A copy of the attached image will be in our mailboxes. All non-perishable items gladly accepted!

Niagara Christian GleanersAdding a Third Dryer - NCG has decided to add a third food dryer to our operation. The expectation is that:
  1. We will smooth out operations by spreading the volume of food over three dryers instead of the existing two dryers.
  2. Provide an immediate backup solution for unexpected breakdowns.
  3.  Allow for scheduled maintenance shutdowns without impacting volunteer participation, production flow and produce volumes. We are expecting the cost of a third dryer installation to be $500,000. We are grateful that we have $200,000 currently in reserve from our recent building expansion, leaving us with $300,000 to raise towards this latest endeavor.
We commit all of our work to the Lord and we never take your support for granted. We are continually blessed by individuals like you who care deeply about this mission and have already stood with us in countless ways. We now invite you to help us take this faithful step forward.

We receive no government funding and provide our food aid free of charge to trusted distribution partners. As such, we rely entirely on the generosity of those who share our calling. Please consider contributing to this important project via our donation page.

Participation - If you would like to participate in A/V ministry, song leading, praying, sharing communion thoughts, reading scripture, family time announcements or teaching/ helping in the Sunday School/Wednesday night program, please reply to this email or speak to NoelMegan or Margaret
