Tintern in Person and Online - Join us this Sunday for in-person service at 10:00 am. If you are feeling unwell, please remain at home. Masks are optional, however Niagara Region Public Health recommends residents wear a mask in indoor spaces.

To watch live on our website click here https://www.tinternchurchofchrist.ca/watch. It will go live about 9:45 Sunday morning. You can always find us on Tintern's YouTube channel as well (https://www.youtube.com/user/tinterncofc).

Wednesday Night Classes - There will be no Wednesday night classes on January 4. Wednesday classes resume January 11.

2023 Bible Reading Plan - Have you ever wanted to read through the Bible in a year? You are welcome to join a group of Tintern folks who are going to do the "Read Through the Bible" Plan with YouVerson. You can click the link below and join (if you haven't already received an invitation)

This is different from the Daily Audio Bible that Jim Whitfield has mentioned in the past. It is a reading plan on your phone that tracks your progress. It includes a reading from the Old Testament, New Testament, and something from Psalms / Proverbs. There is an optional daily devotional if you would like and you can also make some reflections in the app on each reading. Noel will say more about the plan on Sunday. For some people it is a great way to develop a Bible reading habit. If you have any questions, reach out to Noel.

Digital Audio Bible (DAB) - Would you like to take your relationship with God to a deeper level in 2023? Would you like to develop a spiritual practice of immersing yourself in God’s word every day? We will kick off a new start to our Daily Audio Group on January 1, 2023. It only takes 20 minutes a day and can be done on your commute or when your “hands are busy but your mind is not”. Please let me know if you would like more information. We will have a Zoom meeting in late December to get our new group prepared for our 2023 start. Jim Whitfield

CityKidz - Hello Tintern Church of Christ! What a year it has been! 2022 marked a much-anticipated return to some of our regular programs. Nothing could have prepared us for just how exciting it would be to bring children and youth back into our theatres for our CityKidz Saturday program and CityYouth mentorship evenings. After two years of remote programming, seeing our kids smiling faces brought us much joy and hope. Check out the video below to see our kids smiling faces and the incredible impact your support had throughout 2022!
Thank you so much for your faithful giving this year, Tintern Church of Christ! Thank you for being part of this Community of Hope and investing in a fun-filled year for our kids!  Sincerely, Lisa

Safe Families Canada -  Families need an extended-family to come around them with love and support through a crisis. Some families don’t make it. Children can end up hurt or placed in foster care, but this doesn’t have to be the case.
SFC knows that when a parent receives the help they need, they are able to get back on their feet and care for their children well.

This Gift of Family is the most important gift we can offer a parent and child. Give the Gift of Family this season and change the trajectory of a family’s situation.

                        - A family won’t have to face a crisis alone
                        - Children will be safe
                        - Families can stay together

It doesn’t take much for a struggling family to end up in a crisis. Your gift can make sure they have someone to call for help.  Make a one time donation or set up a monthly giving plan for 2023. Every gift connects a family with the support they need. Give the Gift of Family!
