Thank You - Church family, thank you for all the appreciation and love showed to me on Sunday. I was touched (and suprised!) with the kind words, gift and cake. Thank you to all you sneaky people who planned this. It was extra special to me that this took place on my Grandad’s, Keith Thompson’s, birthday. He spent his life devoted to ministry and it was special to celebrate my 5 years in ministry on his birthday. I’m blessed to be a part of this wonderful church family. With much love and appreciation, Crystal

GLBC New Short Courses Starting Soon - We want to make you aware of three new 8-week evening courses that are starting the week of February 27–March 3. These courses are an excellent option for those looking to grow in biblical knowledge with GLBC but unable to commit to a full semester or attend classes during the day. Register as a credit or audit student and enjoy the opportunity to engage in discussion with fellow students during live class sessions. We also encourage churches to consider auditing a course together for mid-week Bible or small group study.

This spring we have faculty member, Nathan Brown, teaching Biblical Theology II, a continuation to Biblical Theology I taught in Fall 2022. This essential course will discuss the remaining twenty-seven books of the New Testament, their themes, how it relates to what God had said previously and what He will say later.

Understanding Extra-Biblical Theology Writings promises to be an engaging and deeply interesting class. Taught by faculty member and Dean, Paul Birston, this course will give an overview of many aspects of extra-Biblical theology writings over the last two millennia and provide students with the skills to examine them in light of scripture.

Adjunct professor, Chad Ramsey, will be teaching an exciting course relevant to all believers. Apologetics for Everybody will equip students to give a reasoned defence of many important eternal truths. Chad will also be conducting an in-person weekend seminar on this topic on April 21-23 at the Strathmore Boulevard Church of Christ in Toronto. We encourage you to read Chad's pertinent Gospel Advocate article of the same title. Chad is a minister at the Gloster Street church of Christ in Tupelo, MS. He is the author of In His Image, Reasons to Believe and the Foundations Series of Bible lessons for Gospel Advocate.
