Prayers - For Tintern's prayer list, check out our website www.tinternchurchofchrist.ca. The "Prayer Hub" button (top right corner or click here) is where you will find our list of prayers. You can also add prayers.
Please send your submissions for the eBulletin to tinternchurchofchrist@gmail.com.
Mud Season - With the wet and/or snowy weather, the parking lot becomes muddy! Please wipe off your shoes when you enter the building on the mats provided. Parents encourage your children to do the same. Also, the exit door at the back of the Fellowship Hall is not an entry door. There are no mats there to remove mud/dirt/snow from shoes. Please re-enter through the main doors. Thank you!
Kids Coin Collection - This Sunday is our coin collection. Our kids are going to help collect the money for the kids we are sponsoring. We are sponsoring two children through Christian Relief Fund, Gabriela Jordan (from Piedras Negras, Mexico) and Ambar Gonzales (from Tegucigalpa, Honduras) and also CityKidz in Hamilton. You can also e-transfer money to tinternpayables@gmail.com, in the message box be sure to let us know that the funds are for the kids collection.
Safe Families Niagara - Please join us for a fundraiser and information night on March 22 @5:30 pm here at the building. Tickets must be purchased in advance (before March 15). Masambuko Update - This Sunday (Mar 2nd) we will be taking up a special collection to help cover the relocation expenses for Helene's family moving to Ontario. Gifts of cash or cheques can be put in the basket by the door on Sunday or you can etransfer a gift to tinternpayables@gmail.com (memo: Masambuko Relocation) or click the link on the website (https://tinternchurchofchrist.ca/give)
The good news is that Helene's parents and her oldest brothers have a temporary place to stay here in Beamsville while they secure something in St. Catharines. The brothers also have potential jobs lined up as well.
What we are still looking for is a temporary place for the youngest two brothers (Elijah 20 yrs old, and Eliyah 18 yrs old) to stay. They are currently in High School full time in Halifax. We are looking for the best way for them to continue their studies here in Ontario. If you can help with accommodations until May please contact Geoff Taylor ( taylor_it@bell.net)

Service Opportunities -
- For many years we have taken advantage of every election day to show hospitality to our neighbours and use our building as a blessing to the community. On Friday (Feb 28), we are looking for some help to set the auditorium back up after election day. We need about 4-6 volunteers at 1pm on Friday to meet at the building and help us reset the chairs for worship. It should only take about an hour to put everything back. Call the building or contact Noel if you can help.
- Is there anyone with a small welding tool that could come to the building and fix some of our older burgundy chairs? Speak to Noel if you have any questions or would like more information.
Gather25 - Tomorrow (Feb 28) for 25 hours the global church will be gathering online. The website is www.gather25.com. You are encouraged to check it out tomorrow. The website has tons of information if you have any questions.
Micah 6 Trip - This year's trip to Micah 6 will be May 15-18 (leaving in the evening on the 15th and returning late on the 18th). Anyone is welcome to come. If you'd like to join, let Megan know by March 9. If you have any questions, please see Megan.
GL Youth Rally - Teens are invited to the Great Lakes Youth Rally taking place April 25-26, 2025. The Youth Rally is a weekend for grade 6 to 12 students that is fun-filled and spiritually uplifting, filled with worship, activities, food, and fun! The theme this year is “Lost.” We have invited Coleman Yoakum, Founder & Executive Director of Micah 6 Community, to present a series of lessons which will explore this relevant topic. New this year, the event will run Friday evening – Saturday evening. Registration will open at 6:00PM Friday and we will wrap up at 8:00PM Saturday. The cost is $35 per participant if they register before April 1st and $40 after that date, which includes all meals. Teens can register at bit.ly/GLYouthRally2025. Please let us know if you have any questions and we hope you will consider joining us on April 25th!
Bible Day Camp - This year Bible Day Camp will be June 30 to July 4th. We have started planning. We need newspapers and flyers for a team building activity. Please bring any newspapers and flyers you have to the building. There is a box outside of Margaret's office where they can be left. Thanks!
Picture Bulletin Board - Thanks to those that have sent in their new pictures. If you have a recent family picture send it to Margaret.
Nonperishable Items - "Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord their God. He is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them—he remains faithful forever. He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry." Psalm 146:5-7(a) Tintern will continue to collect non-perishable items. Thank you for everything donated in the month of February. For the month of March please bring in personal care items.
