Update from Jason and Cintia in Zambia - Brian is one of the young people that grew up at Eric’s House. He requires very complex brain surgery. Cintia Kumalo sends this update on Brian's surgery: Yesterday (Nov 6) was a long and challenging day. His brain surgery took nearly 6 hours, and afterward, he experienced a series of mini seizures—5 within about half an hour, hopefully those stopped once the doctor gave him meds. Despite everything, he’s been in good spirits, showing strength.
Due to the size of the AVM (ArterioVenous Malformation), the surgeons could only work on the front portion, with a plan to return for the rest in about 1 to 1.5 years. Until then, he’ll be closely monitored with MRIs every 3 months. This is going to be a long road for Brian. Doctor says he’ll be a patient for life. Thank you for the prayers that have carried us this far; please continue to keep Brian in your prayers as he recovers. Jason and Cintia have raised almost all the necessary funds to pay for the treatment and the associated travel and accommodation expenses. For more information and/or an opportunity to contribute to the remaining financial needs please click here. (Note: no tax receipt is available as this is private benevolence)

Grace (Judy Greer) is directing the performance for the very first time; she and her daughter Beth (Molly Belle Wright) and husband Bob (Pete Holmes) are in over their heads, especially against a town that wants them to kick the Herdmans out. But the play’s mischievous stars might unwittingly teach a community the true meaning of Christmas.
Featuring Lauren Graham and two young up-and-coming Canadian talents, Essek Moore and Beatrice Schneider. Screenplay by Ryan Swanson and Platte F. Clark & Darin McDaniel. It features Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham. Click here to watch the trailer. It will be at the Landmark Pen Centre 10 theatre.
