WHAT IS IT ABOUT TINTERN?

Micah Rose and Sandy McBay are inviting participants to share briefly on video what Tintern means to you. Whether you are in your 90's or Grade 1, you are invited to think of 2 or 3 reasons why Tintern is important to you, what you continue to learn about God, and how He is present in your life.

During class time November 9 and 16, we will meet in Noel's office. Consider signing the list that has been created (see Sandy), or let her or Micah know your intent.

Kids Coin Collection - This Sunday is our coin collection. Our kids are going to help collect the money for the kids we are sponsoring. We are sponsoring two children through Christian Relief Fund, Gabriela Jordan (from Piedras Negras, Mexico) and Ambar Gonzales (from Tegucigalpa, Honduras) and also CityKidz in Hamilton. You can also e-transfer money to tinternpayables@gmail.com, in the message box be sure to let us know that the funds are for the kids collection.

Pumpkins - After Halloween, if you have any real pumpkins, you can drop them off at a farm at 5552 Fly Road. Remove decorations, candles and wax. There is a drop box at the end of the driveway close to Fly Road.

Alpha Marriage Course @ Tintern

Strengthen your marriage with The Marriage Course—a 7-week, date-night style series designed to help couples grow closer through meaningful conversations and practical tools.

When: Every other Sunday at 5pm (Nov 2 & 16)
Where: Tintern Church Building
What to Expect:

Dinner for two
Two short videos with guided private discussions
Dessert and time to connect
(Each evening lasts about 90 minutes to 2 hours)

Retreat Weekend - Nov 28–30 @ Hidden Acres Retreat Centre, Kitchener ON
The cost is $280/couple (includes two nights and meals).

Women's Renewal Weekend - A team of ladies from around Ontario are trying to plan a women's renewal weekend. Would you please take a moment and fill out this survey by October 31 so we can make some final decisions on the date. They would like as many responses as possible.

Lost & Found Table - At the back of the auditorium is a table with some items that have been left behind. Take a look and see if anything is yours. I've included a picture at the bottom. The table will be up for two more weeks.

Picture Bulletin Board - Thanks to those that have sent in their new pictures. New pictures are on the bulletin board with more to come. Margaret is still collecting family pictures to update our picture bulletin board.

Nonperishable Items - For the month of November, we are collecting spices, condiments, baking ingredients and cooking oil. All non-perishable items gladly accepted! The 2025 Food Bank Canada report came out recently. Once again record high usage is reported across the country at food banks and other community supports. When you bring in donations or make donations of food you are helping to make a difference! To read the report click here.

Participation - If you would like to participate in A/V ministry, song leading, praying, sharing communion thoughts, reading scripture, family time announcements or teaching/ helping in the Sunday School/Wednesday night program, please reply to this email or speak to Noel, Megan or Margaret.
