Kids Coin Collection - This Sunday is our coin collection. Our kids are going to help collect the money for the kids we are sponsoring. We are sponsoring two children through Christian Relief Fund, Gabriela Jordan (from Piedras Negras, Mexico) and Ambar Gonzales (from Tegucigalpa, Honduras) and also CityKidz in Hamilton. You can also e-transfer money to tinternpayables@gmail.com, in the message box be sure to let us know that the funds are for the kids collection.  

Song Leaders' Workshop - Song Leaders' Workshop with Murray Hibbard at St. Catharines Church of Christ on November 2, 2024. We invite men and women who want to enhance their song leading skills and/or encourage young song leaders and young people who would like to explore song leading as an avenue of service. Anyone who enjoys singing. See flyer below.

Beamsville Bakery - You are invited to Beamsville Baker on November 2 as they celebrate 50 years. 10% of all sales will be given to Community Care of West Niagara.

Gwen Cramp’s Baptism -  All are welcome to join the Cramp family for Gwen’s baptism at the building at 6:30 on Friday, November 8th (before FNC!).

November Friday Night Connect - Stay at the building after Gwen Cramp’s baptism on Nov 8 for an Oscar’s Party from 7-9! You’ll walk the red carpet and, in teams, answer trivia questions about homemade remakes of movie clips as well as test your knowledge in some fun mini games. Snacks provided. Bring a friend!  

Tanzania Report - Join us on Sunday November 10 as Roger Perry makes a presentation, during adult class, about his and Katherine's trip to Tanzania in late September.

The Hosanna Choir Christmas Concert - “Come Let Us Adore Him” with the beautiful music of the 120+ voice Hosanna Choir. A freewill offering will be taken with all proceeds going to Choose Life Niagara and Clarity Pregnancy Options. Join us on Friday, November 15 at Zion Free Reformed Church, 1075 Boyle Road, Fenwick. WAVES Fall Luncheon - All ladies are invited to a luncheon at GL hosted by The Hospitality & Tourism Class. If you plan to attend please RSVP to jessica.branan@glchs.ca by November 20. Please include any dietary restrictions. Invitation is attached.

Annual Christmas Concert - Performing Arts @ Mountainview invites you the join us for our annual Christmas Concert “Joy has Dawned” on Saturday December 14th at 7:30 p.m. Featuring the Hosanna Choir with Director: Herman den Hollander, Organists: Andre Knevel, Organist: Ryan VanderBerg, Pianist: Naomi Noorduyn. The concert will take place here at Mountainview Church 290 Main Street East, Grimsby. Tickets are $20 per person or $45.00 per family (2 adults w/children 16 & under). Tickets will be available via our website www.mountainviewcrc.org/events at the Dutch Shop in Grimsby or at the door on the evening of the concert. Proceeds from the evening will benefit the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation.

Giving More in 2024 - “Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.”  Isaiah 58:10  Together we can make a BIG difference! Thank you for all the items you donated during the month of October. There was enough for four small boxes. For the month of November we are collecting spices or condiments or baking ingredients (flour sugar etc.) or cooking oil. While grocery shopping for your family, see what you can find. Any non-perishable items gladly accepted! Invitations are in your mailbox at Tintern.
