Alpha Marriage Course @ Tintern

Strengthen your marriage with The Marriage Course—a 7-week, date-night style series designed to help couples grow closer through meaningful conversations and practical tools.

When: Every other Sunday at 5pm (Sept 21, Oct 5, 19, Nov 2, 16)
Where: Tintern Church Building
What to Expect:

Dinner for two
Two short videos with guided private discussions
Dessert and time to connect
(Each evening lasts about 90 minutes to 2 hours)

Retreat Weekend: Nov 28–30 @ Hidden Acres Retreat Centre, Kitchener ON

GLCHS Alumni Worship on Sun Sept 28 - We are looking forward to joining the worship service at Great Lakes on Sunday Sept 28 at 10:30am. Nathan Pickard will be speaking. As a result there will be no service held here at the Tintern building that Sunday. There is accessible parking at the rear doors of the gym. Contact Noel, Margaret or one of the elders if you have any questions.

GL Alumni & Friends Weekend - Join us at Great Lakes Christian High School for Alumni & Friends Weekend, Sept. 26–28, 2025. The weekend features fun activities, sports tournaments, the Homecoming Banquet on Saturday evening, and a worship service Sunday morning with guest speaker Nathan Pickard (Alumnus of the Year).

The Tintern Church of Christ is preparing for a mission trip to Japan to connect with Joel Osborne, Hiro Akahoshi and the Mito Church of Christ through outreach, fellowship, and service. To help fund this trip, we’re launching a technology donation fundraiser, and we’d love your support!

If you’ve recently upgraded or have unused devices, consider donating them to our cause. Your old tech can help bring hope and support to communities in Japan.

Picture Bulletin Board - Thanks to those that have sent in their new pictures. New pictures are on the bulletin board with more to come. Margaret is still collecting family pictures to update our picture bulletin board.

Psalm 146:5-7(a) For the month of September we'll be collecting baby items (suggestions in the image below). A copy of the attached image will be in mailboxes. All non-perishable items gladly accepted!

Participation - If you would like to participate in A/V ministry, song leading, praying, sharing communion thoughts, reading scripture, family time announcements or teaching/ helping in the Sunday School/Wednesday night program, please reply to this email or speak to Noel, Megan or Margaret.
